Heavy-duty Rigging at St. Mary's Cement

After the removal of the kiln tyre from the kiln at St. Mary's Cement Plant in St. Mary's, Ontario, AIM Industrial Multi-Trade is seen here with specialized rigging loading the 20ft diameter, 204,000lb piece of steel and relocating it to a far-away area of the plant. Mammoet Crane was a big help with their two cranes: one main, one tail, and loading the tyre onto their all-wheel drive specialized flatbed. Safety is always paramount and has to be well planned for this slow and tedious type of project and in ensuring the customer's ultimate satisfaction. They were happily thunderstruck at the ease this work was done.
