Renewable Energy - London Biogas Expansion

A little while back AIM Industrial was awarded a Mechanical and Electrical package for a new Greenfield expansion in London, Ontario.

Our internationally acclaimed London-based customer runs a biogas facility that produces renewable natural gas as well as renewable electricity offering food and organic waste disposal services for municipalities and food manufacturers, as well as any organization that produces organic waste. They also supply renewable natural gas that can be used in place of harmful fossil fuels.

AIM Industrial's scope of work included supplying installation labor, purchase of materials and supply of equipment for:

Electrical

-Switchgear re-work and generator installation

-Cable tray systems c/w concrete and supports

-Duct banks, wiring, trenches, concrete and backfill

-Receive two SH light poles and install complete

-Testing and Commissioning of all services supplied

-Provisional, Supply and install an identical second blower unit

Mechanical (Piping)

-Supply/installation of HDPE piping, valves, fittings and supports

-Supply/installation of SS piping, valves, fittings and supports

Supply/installation of 3/4" compressed air lines, underground gas pipe, drain pipes

-Supply/installation of heat tracing wire, and pipe insulation above and below ground.

-Supply/installation of two Blower systems c/w piping, valves and fittings necessary for a complete and commissioned installation

-Supply/installation of all excavation, backfill and concrete work for piping, under road crossing, and new piers
